SXSW is over. We had a great time. Any out there who might be interested in seeing us again can keep there heads up at CMJ this fall. Other than that, there might be a show or two in the cards in Minneapolis and/or Cincinnati.

The album 23 has been released. Out on March 27th, it should be available at your fav local record store, or i-tunes (unless you live in the United States). Stateside fans, we ask you hold your breath a little longer. Sooner or later, I’m sure - a distributor will pick it up and deliver it to your door.

We’d like to thank all the various blogs out there that have said such positive things about the new recordings. Really, its wonderful to know that after having made music for as long as we have that people have been listening to it and enjoying it.

Remember to check us out on MY SPACE often as we’re always adding new songs, outtakes and remixes

Sukpatch is looking for remixes of three of their songs
.

If you go to the music section of our website, you can download the splits from the three tracks in mp3 format. Come up with something interesting and email it to us and we’ll respond by sending you the actual AIFF files. Then you can simply substitute the MP3s for the AIFFs and bump up the sound quality so we can in-turn get them to our record label for mastering and production.

The new single, “Medium Self-Employed” will be released through Moshi Moshi on March 18th, 2006. Check out the first review for the single here on playlouder.com.

We also want to thank Donna Legge for the kind words after playing our single during her broadcast Thur. March 23rd 2006 on Radio 1 Ulster. You can listen to her show by following this link.

The new album, “23” will come out sometime at the end of March ’06 - also on Moshi Moshi!!!

Look for Sukpatch to be playing in Austin at SXSW (MOSHI MOSHI PARTY). The show will be the first Sukpatch has played in over five years. A new member will join Sukpatch for the live show. His name is Jeremy and he’s in a punk band called the Minni-Thins. You can check out his shameless self-promotion at minnithins.com.

The show details are as follows: Friday evening, March 17th @ Latitude 30 Austin, TX Sukpatch will be playing with Tilly & The Wall, Best Fwends and Au Revoir Simone (as far as we know).

Remember to check back every so often as the band is eager to put rough mixes of the shit they’re recording up on the site. Your feedback is always appreciated as well.

Have any embarrassing pictures of sukpatch? Quick snaps from drunken nights gone by? Email copies to sukpatch@hotmail.com. We’d also be keen to get any copies of old live shows that may have been recorded. We’ll be sure they make it up on the site. Remember to leave notice of yourself so we can give you full credit. To all our loyal 23 or so fans - thanks for listening!!!!
